THE BEGINNING OF SEED
SEED or Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Persekitaran Positif Malaysia is the first Trans-led community based organization in Malaysia. Officially registered in 2014, SEED was created to ensure the availability of support services for marginalized communities, especially the Transgender community.

MAKING IT WORK
SEED relies on the generous donations of the public. Our site in Chow Kit was established as a drop in center, to further enable us to continue our services for communities in need. Our motto being “Nobody Gets Left Behind”, those at SEED work tirelessly to make sure services are at hand to those who need them. With over 9800 people whose wellbeing depends on our support and services, giving up is never an option. Everything you, the generous public donate will be used to keep offering our services those that need them.
OUR CENTERS
Our drop-in center is located at 69, Jalan Tiong Nam, Chow Kit. Our premises albeit small, provides warm shelter and food for women of socially excluded communities. The center provides a safe space and an escape from the harsh realities of the street.
In August 2017, we opened our ‘T-Home for elderly Transgender’ in Ampang that can house a maximum of 10 residents.
We will continuously seek new ways of sourcing for funds and resources to support and provide for these at risk communities. Supporting them to take steps to better their lives by providing a safe space for them and enabling them to achieve realistic goals

COME JOIN US
You are welcome to visit our centers and volunteer or make donations of dry rations, clothes or funds. Our team hopes that you would want to take strides to understand more of what we do and how you can support what we do. Every supporter, volunteer and donation matters to SEED. A little goes a long way!
