The SEED (Pertubuhan Pembangunan Kebajikan dan Persekitaran Positif Malaysia) drop in Center (DIC) proves its guests a safe space free of any form of threats, intimidation, discrimination, harassment, physically unsafe or unsanitary conditions.

We also provide folks with:

  • Counseling and peer support
  • Information sharing and empowerment
  • Basic healthcare such as basic medication and treatments for wounds
  • Capacity and skill building training

It is the base for both the referrals and the outreach team to gather for meetings. During which they would exchange information, update data and conduct various programs.

The drop in center also functions as the meeting point for staff and clients for counseling, medication pickup, information gathering, the conduction of research, social networking as well as the event coordination for various client based programs or fundraising.



Referral is an service provided by SEED. We assist our clients in sourcing out the help or information required to assist them in their individual cases such as that for

  • Rehabilitation for substance abuse
  • Health check ups
  • check ups and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Welfare/Baitulmal
  • Cure and care centers
  • Employment
  • Legal aid
  • Shelter homes

 The cases are attended to 7 days a week 9am to 5pm and the results have been encouraging.

The services have ascended to new heights with SEED’s unique approach to social care and comprehensive support for the community. Still emerging from the nascent stages of its life, SEED’s referral services has solidified its reputation in Kuala Lumpur as a trusted source of information along with an inclusive support to all communities. Such positive representation makes a considerable impact in facilitating the reduction of social stigma and thereby reducing  the vulnerability of such at risk communities.


Our outreach services are dedicated to providing confidential assessments and recommending quality referrals for placement, intervention, care and support for those in need.

We also dedicate our time to education and providing information to the clients with regards to HIV/AIDS through:

  • The conduction of prevention programs
  • the distribution of Safe Sex kits which consist of condoms, lubricant, brochures and pamphlets.
  • Peer counseling

Our outreach workers have been able to reach out to 261,002  infected and many affected communities since 2007.
