ABOUT SEED
Pertubuhan Pembangunan Kebajikan Dan Persekitaran Positif Malaysia (SEED) also known as SEED Malaysia is the 1st transgender-led community-based organization.
It was registered on the 2nd April 2014 by a group of transgender social workers, each with more than 30 years experience in issues pertaining to the key affected population such as homeless, people living with HIV and sex-working.

Our organization's values are aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our tagline, "nobody gets left behind," reflects the UN's commitment to "Living no one behind." We primarily focus on the following goals
ACTIVITIES
In 2022, SEED successfully regained its momentum and actively engaged in various projects and events. We remained dedicated to participating in a diverse range of activities both within the DIC (presumably an organization or community) and externally, both locally and internationally. Throughout the year, we organized approximately 25 sessions, which included trainings, workshops, and gatherings.
These sessions were facilitated by experts in their respective fields and aimed at supporting and enhancing the knowledge of the participants. In total, we had around 734 attendees who benefited from these informative and interactive sessions.
OUR WORK
SEED RELAUNCHING
Our new center was officially launched on the 24th of June 2022 by dignitaries and representatives from the High Commission of Canada, British High Commission, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands, Embassy of the United States of America, as well as delegation from the European Union and also Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir from Malaysian AIDS Foundation.
Others who came to show support were trusted allies and friends representing different organizations. The event provided us the opportunity to highlight the work that we do and to network for future collaboration and support.
